Abstract

This article reflects on whether the work The Prince written by Niccoló Machiavelli in the 16th century is still valid for the present and whether its content is applicable to contemporary social relationships or whether it is merely a legacy of the past that is far from today’s reality. The article selects some passages of the work and applies them to contemporary social and political relations.
