Personal data protection versus right to information in the context of prevailing public interest

Abstract

Personal data protection and the legitimate interest of the general public
on public control often comes into mutual contradiction. This article
aims to point out the development trends in the case law of the highest
Slovak judicial authorities in the examined area and also to identify the
limits of possible analogical use of the aforementioned case law.
